Our journey into the world of beauty and wellness is deeply rooted in the natural sanctuary of my childhood home in Sri Lanka. Among all the luxuries we had, one space stood out, the open bathing area my father lovingly created. He designed it around two naturally grown trees: a Saman Pichcha (Jasmin) flower tree and a Kohomba (Neem) tree, carefully tiling the space while preserving their beauty and shade. At the heart of this sanctuary, he built a handmade cement bathtub, his private retreat, a place to unwind and reconnect with nature.

Though it was meant to be his sanctuary, I often found myself sneaking in, drawn by the magic of the space. As the breeze carried the earthy aroma of the Kohomba (Neem) tree and the sweet fragrance of the Saman Pichcha (Jasmin) flowers, sunlight filtered through the leaves, casting golden patterns on the water. Delicate petals drifted down, carried by the wind, transforming each bath into an enchanting experience.

In those stolen moments of wonder, my creativity flourished. I began experimenting, adding coconut oil, flowers, and fragrances to the water, turning an ordinary bath into a ritual of beauty and well-being. This space became more than just a place to bathe; it was a canvas for my imagination, where I discovered the harmony between nature and self-care.

I found immense joy in playing with my mother’s hair oils and my father’s perfumes, mixing them into the water to create scents and sensations that felt magical. It was then that I realized the profound connection between nature, beauty, and wellness. These early experiences taught me that when used thoughtfully and at the right time, natural ingredients could nourish not just the body but also the mind and soul.

Years of learning, experimenting, and refining transformed those childhood moments into a lifelong passion. Born from love and memory, SUWA’s Premium Pet Range is inspired by Diggidy, my loyal German Shepherd , my protector, my companion, and my heart. She guarded me through life’s seasons and taught me the silent language of trust, care, and connection.
